Our History

April, 1980 D.I.Engineering Corporation (hereafter, DIEC) was established as an evenly invested joint-venture among Takeuchi Press Industries, Watanabe Machine Works and Masajiro Okuno. Paid-in capital was 3,750,000 yen.
August, 1980 DIEC became an official dealer of Belvac Production Machinery (USA).
July, 1988 DIEC established D.I.Engineering Corporation of America (DIEA) as its wholly owned affiliate in Golden, Colorado, USA.
October, 1988 DIEC established D.I. Parts and Service Corporation (DIPS) as its wholly owned affiliate in Japan. DIPS started the operation of its parts center.
February, 1989 DIPS was appointed by Ragsdale Machinery Operations (currently a part of Stolle Machinery) as its official service center for the decorator, basecoater and bodymaker.
March, 1991 Paid-in capital was increased to 35,000,000 yen.
March, 1992 DIEC was appointed by Ragsdale Machinery Operations (currently a part of Stolle Machinery) as its sole agent in Japan.
April, 1992 DIEC was appointed by Formatec Tooling Systems (currently a part of Stolle Machinery) as its sole agent in Japan.
August, 1993 DIEC was appointed by Randolph Machinery Operations (currently a part of Stolle Machinery) as its sole agent in Japan.
February, 1997 Paid-in capital was increased to 49,875,000 yen.
May, 1997 DIEC established D.I.E.C. Singapore Pte, Ltd. (DIES) as its wholly owned affiliate in Singapore. DIES started the operation of its parts center for East & Southeast Asian and Oceanian countries. DIES was appointed by APM (now called Stolle Machinery) as its sole agent authorized to sell its genuine parts in the region.
1998 DIEC was appointed by Crown Simplimatic (now called Ambec Inc.) as its sole agent in Japan.
May, 1998 Mr. Masajiro Okuno (founder) became chairman, and Mr. Hiroshi Yamazaki was named president.
April, 2000 DIEC was appointed by Hartness International as its sole agent in Japan.
April, 2001 DIEC was appointed by Belvac Production Machinery as its sole agent in Japan.
September, 2001 DIEC and DIPS moved to the new office in downtown Tokyo.
2002 DIEC was appointed by Ocme s.r.l. as its sole agent in Japan.
March, 2002 DIEC was appointed by Republic Sales & Manufacturing as its sole agent in Japan.
August, 2002 DIPS was merged into DIEC. Paid-in capital was increased to 68,625,000 yen.
May, 2004 DIEC was appointed by Sensor Wireless as its sole agent in Japan.
March, 2005 DIEC was appointed by Stolle Machinery (the former Stolle Machinery, Alcoa Packaging Machinery, Preferred Machining and Redicon) as its sole agent in Japan.
March, 2005 DIES was appointed by Stolle Machinery as the sole agent authorized to sell its genuine parts in Southeast Asian and Oceanian countries.
June, 2005 DIEC was appointed by Industrial Consortium as its sole agent in Japan.
April, 2007 DIEC was appointed by ASC Mashine Tools as its sole agent in Japan.
April, 2009 DIEC established D.I.E.C. CHINA as its wholly owned affiliate in Shanghai, China.
